If you are simply beginning your college career and desire to skip some of the necessary introductory classes, you may try to "CLEP out" and move directly to classes that are more advanced. It does not involve any books or documents unless you wish to experiment a pen and paper, which is much better for quicker understanding. Nevertheless, the basic secret is still to understand that material.
